Safaris

With Breeze Travel & Safaris we take you on an in-depth coverage of Uganda’s magnificent natural habitats, discovering one of Africa’s most thrilling holiday destinations with beautiful vegetation, mountain gorillas, abundant bird-life, trekking opportunities, white-water rafting, ancient kingdoms, rich history and warm welcoming people.

Uganda is a country of dramatic natural qualities, it is the source of the Nile, which ends in the Mediterranean Sea, and the fabled snow-capped Mountains of the Moon border it, it hosts one of the last remaining habitats on Earth, and is home to half of the surviving population of the highly endangered mountain gorillas. It also contains four of Africa's seven Great Lakes, and perhaps as a consequence it hosts one of the highest numbers of bird species in the world.

National Parks:

Most of Uganda's wildlife is concentrated in its protected areas, of which there are three main categories: National Parks, Wildlife Reserves, and Forest Reserves. The conservation and management of these areas falls under two principal agencies, the Uganda Wildlife Authority under the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry and the Forestry Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources. Uganda has established 10 National Parks, enabling tourists to enjoy the environment of pristine wilderness.
